Our Program
Our diverse program is one of the things that sets St. Johns Cathedral School apart from the rest. Included in the Pre K 2, Pre K 3 and Pre K 4 tuition, we offer Spanish, Tumbling, Godly Play, Art and Music and Movement. The younger classes, infants and toddlers also have art and music and movement with our resource teachers. The VPK/Pre K 4 class has Chapel twice a month with a member of The Cathedral.
All of the classrooms prepare weekly lesson plans to ensure a structured yet enriched filled curriculum. The teachers also have monthly newsletters for their classroom which assists in communicating class parties, birthdays, school closings and the curriculum for the month.
We also offer parent/teacher conferences twice a year, once in the fall and in the spring. The teachers assess each child individually and prepare student evaluations. Parents are highly encouraged to schedule a one to one conference with their child's teacher to discuss the evaluation. This is an excellent opportunity to remain involved in your child's educational learning and development.
